do 3 angles on the seats and back cut the intake valves. Blend all into the bowl area. Should be able to make 399HP with stock valve sizes.
Need the right ignition system, intake and cam

If you can't use an electronic rev limiter to reduce output, how about throttle bore restrictor plates.

Good luck

i dont know where my buddy is getting parts from but he told me the cam was a SS 300T,WITH EDELBROCK ALUMINUM INTAKE,I hope this gets me somewhere in the 400 hp range with lots of torque, and should i use the stock carb ,its a stock rochester 1969 carb.

Realistic HP numbers are not exactly as factual as it seems. HP and Torque have to work together to create a perfect result.
The Caddy will produce alot of each. Getting results depend on alot of things.
A light car will fly with a big motor if geared correctly and traction is correct.

I can make a Brigs and Stratton 5 horse engine pull a house off fits foundation if geared correctly. It may take a while but it can be done.
So HP works with Torque to get the job done. Remember HP is a coralation of work done in time and torque is a coralation of amout of work that can be done. Getting a 4500 lb car to go fast requires both. Chevy 454 was at one time the biggest Chevy engine you could get. What was it called LS1 at 450 HP stock. 1970 Chevell would run low mid 12s from factory. Calculate HP figures 3600lb car @ 12.5 seconds = 368 HP. So who what are correct HP listings.

I have looked at competers sight and listen to alot of people saying what is what and how much HP is made when numbers prove them differently.
Moving a 4500LB car into 10.5 seconds requires 750 HP. Not possible for low dollars invested.
My 3600 lb Camero ran 10.90s This was with a 302 SBC = 550 HP in 1970. Took alot of $s to get there.
Seriously, the Caddy in stock form in a 3200-3600lb car should run mid to low 12s all day.
Go find and old Eldorado 500 drop in to a Mustang chassis and have fun.
Just my 2 cents.
