Default 1964 ford f100 Fleetside shorty

Here was my first truck i bought when i was 16. Paid 500 for it an have transformed it with different engine combos over the years. The best one that i had the most fun with was the 472 caddy that was donated to it after i wrecked the 73 sedan deville. The truck has had 2 500`s installed one bone stock with just an intake and then the other with the olds piston an pontiac rod combo. That was the motor that was raced around for 3 years then i cracked a piston ring land and still pulled a 12.1 on seven cyls. Had only 30 psi cranking and i want to finish the race season out so i slaped the heads back on and went racing. Thought i had poped a head gasket cuz i had a .079 overbore. The truck sits now with a mild warmed over 500 with the true stock flatop pistons and the 78cc heads. Put in a mild reground cam from local cam grinder and an eldebroke intake manifold with the MSD upp graded hei module assy and the super coil. Trans is t-400 from the 73 sedan with the 2.74 lower planetary first gear set and B&M street strip shift improver kit setup in strip mode. Converter is the Saturday night special. The drive shaft is also the factory from the devile with the dual cv joints on both ends. Had the caddy flange mated to the ford nine inch yoke and 20 years later and a set of u joints upgraded to the solid set due to breakage of the ear right off she is holding up great.Got to love the torque. The diff has a set of 3.50 gears with more less a home made spool. Installed 2 extra spider gears to lock it up. Works great. Got some 8 inch rims with some 29-12.50-15 sportman pro 2 ply wrinkle wall dot tires. Had traction issue still tilll i made my own fuel cell and mounted it between the frame rails behind the rear end. Also relocated the group 27 battery to the rear. The tank was a donor from a 89 jeep Cherokee which has the in-tank fuel pump. I swapped it out with slight mods with a corvette tpi unit from a corvette. Has plenty of fuel. I run a rising rate fuel pressure regulator that has a return line back to the tank. This all feeds a holley 650 that's been reworked for some serious fuel flow. The engine is mounted in there along with the trans with the stock stuff order right out of jc witney catologe for a 460 ford and a t-400 trans gm.I even took the Cadillac 6 way electric power seat motor assy of the bench seat and fabbed them in on my split bucket bench seat i have in it. I have electric 6 way adjustment in my ole ford. I also modded the factory motor mounts to bolt right up onto the factory cross member. Also i took the factory front sump pan mad it a 8 qt rear sump that fits perfectly. As for exhaust i run the factory manifolds to 2 1/2 pipes straight out the back no mufflers. Drove it around for a year and it talked to you only when you got on it. I put on some monza tips to quiet it down and then 6 month later i put on some 2 chamber flow masters now it low rumble.

Guess i need to get the pictures uploaded this is where im not to keen on. I see what i can do.
