Default transverse 500?

Hello. Ha's anyone heard of a 500 being swapped for the250 in. The 87 coupe deVille? It's such a nice car I have, only it's very underpowered. I realize the 500 is a few inches longer than the 4.1. What do you think?

1. Weight is going to be a problem.

2. Bulk is going to be a problem.

3. The transaxle will shred with the torque from a properly-running 500.

Anything can be done but I would stick with a rear drive car and do the swap.
