Default 70 deville front stub axle

has any one removed or replaced a front stub axle on a 70 deville? if its possible are the axles pressed in or screwed into the knuckle assembly?

Far as I know, the spindle is not considered a replaceable part. The typical solution is to replace the entire steering knuckle.

First Guess: Hellacious press-fit, if not a welded assembly. Might be that some vehicles use a one-piece knuckle and spindle--I'm not sure.
