Default Gear venders over drive

Hey Guys, Do any of you use the Gear Venders o/d unit on the T400? If so does anybody have any feedback. I don't know any one Down Under (Australia) who has one. I am thinking of putting one in my 1960 Caddy Coupe DeVille. I am running a strong 500/T400 combo. Thanks in advance. Paul.

I have no direct experience with the GV or other aftermarket overdrive units, so maybe you want to ignore my comments...

If you can deal with manual shift, you'd probably like a 4L80E better.

A stand-alone computer to control the 4L80E automatically is expensive, but not as bad as they once were--but you still need the sensor package, and that may not be convenient.
