Replacing the stock engine? Is it as quiet? lol -Have a 57 Olds, the hydro trans is iron and "Heavy". Set the engine and trans in one of those, -the car sets WAY down. Old Olds rocket v8's are close to 700 lbs alone.

This car doesn't know the meaning of quiet, besides nothing sounds like the original flathead except another flathead. The alcohol fuel injection really makes it cackle and pop. As for weight I am still up against the upper bump stop, looking for some smaller coil springs or I will check these and order some new ones.

Even to me also without the Torson 3rd member it still spins both tires about equal. Way too much fun!!!

Default Getting closer

Still need to do some work on the running boards and find a chrome shop for the door handles and bumpers
