I found a frame and drivetrain for one of my projects but the guy lives in NJ. I live in WI. Since its not a full size car and not driveable I figure I will have to go with a freight company. Does anyone know of any good freight companies for this? How much would be a ball park figure of how much it would be to ship? Thanks - Justin

If is rollable I think it would go by transport. If not, no idea.

Its a frame from a 77 Cadillac Deville It has the motor and drivetrain. The frame has already been sand blasted and painted. It even has the wheels on it. Could I use a freight company or would I have to use a car company? Motor, trans, rear end, and driveshaft are on it. How much you think this would cost to get it from New Jersey to Wisconsin? - Justin

I'll bet you could use either one. Time for some research, figuring out which is cheaper... :D

Justin,
It'll cost a bundle. The car hauling firms charge a bunch extra for hauling a non-running car.
Fyi, I shopped hard for a hauler to bring a engine/trans-less Opel GT [apx 1700 lbs] from Carson City, NV to Maryland. I was quoted 65 cents per mile from several sources. I ended up finding a fellow with a 24' trailer that had a half load coming this way, and he agreed on $1000. That was a very good deal, imo.
