Question: I have a 1967 CDV, that I've converted to front disk using the brackets, rotors and other pertinate parts from a 68 CDV. The installation went very smooth with on exception; my stock wheels don't fit, and the wheels from the new car will not accept the 67/66 wheel cover (its about 1/4 deeper than the 68/69 wheel cover. I've purchased a set of spacers to use in the mean time, but they are not a long term solution (or are they). What other options do I have that let me keep my stock wheel covers?
In the near future I would also like to swap out the rear drums for disk as well, will I encounter the same problem?

I don't know why you should be having interference trouble. The wheels for '67 and '68 Cadillacs are the same thing (I have a couple '68s and a '67). That same wheel was used for many years. Cadillac also used the rim mount style wheelcovers that required the longer lip on the wheel as well as special wheel weights for many years, from the early '60s to the mid '70s or so. If you have true Cadillac wheels from this era you shouldn't be having any trouble.

I would have no idea how to go about putting a rear disk setup on these cars, and I wouldn't mess with it.

I had the same issue when I installed discs on the front of my 68 SDV, the wheels hit my freshly painted calipers. 1968 was a weird transitional year, with drums standard and discs being an option. As far as I can tell the wheels that came on drum cars were different than the wheels from disc cars. 67 cars probably only came with the wheels that work with drums, as there was no disc option. I took a set of wheels off a 69 DeVille and that fixed it.

To get rear discs on the axle you will need to fabricate your own caliper brackets, nobody's selling them for the funny Cadillac axle.
